Philadelphia Union v. Toronto FC

Le Toux Is French For The Playoffs

19,178 people witnessed a historic day in Philadelphia Soccer History!  The U who were NEW last year are going to the MLS Playoffs!  If it weren’t for Ryan Johnson and his meddling equalizer it would have been the perfect day!

Sebastien Le Toux now has 11 Goals and 9 Assists and 1 Game Remaining.  I think LE TOUX is French for LE MVP, but then again I thought that last year.  I know Don Garber and the MLS will never let this happen, but the kid from Mont-Saint-Aignan, France definitely deserves to be the MVP of MLS.

Bring on the 2011 MLS Playoffs! We’re Gonna Roll.. We’re Gonna Roll.. We’re Gonna Roll The Union ON!

Philadelphia Union v. Toronto FC – Highlights

The best part of this match for me was getting to share an amazing moment with my son Benjamin Franklin Mitchell.  My son watched his first Philadelphia Union game when he was 2 days old… he has been watching matches on television and at PPL Park ever since.  He has even become friends with his two favorite players Sebastien Le Toux and Sheanon Williams.  In order for the BEAUTIFUL GAME to flourish here in Philadelphia we need to PREACH THE GOSPEL OF DOOP to our friends, family, and strangers.  Bring them to one match at PPL Park and they will be fans for life.
