Philadelphia Union v. FC Dallas

Le Toux Comes Up Big In Adu Debut

18,811 people filled PPL Park on a Wet Hot American Summer night to see the debut of ADU.

I am not sure what to make of tonight’s match.  I suppose it is a positive to walk away with any points when you play a team as good as FC Dallas.  I am concerned that we are leaving too many points behind as we make a push for the playoffs.  The team still hasn’t shown consistent ability to score from the run of play and all of a sudden we are too many defensive lapses end up in the back of the net.

The Eastern Conference is up for grabs.   The UNION had alot of chances to run away with the top spot as RBNY spiraled out of control.   Instead we saw the scrappy Columbus Crew claw their way to the top while Sporting KC and D.C. United made up ALOT of ground.  Even the Houston Dynamo find themselves on the outside looking in.  Will the UNION find the answer to reclaim the Eastern Title?  We will have to wait and see if ADU will inspire the U.

If you thought we should have walked away with 3 points last night, I don’t know what game you were watching.
